sketcha.day is made by Robby McCullough, a lifelong drawer, designer, and web guy. This site started as an experiment after he used an AI-generated drawing tutorial of a cowboy hat to make his partner, Tracie, a homemade birthday card.

The lessons focus on small subjects you can study without needing a studio, a class, or a perfect block of time. Our sister site doodlea.day is for more playful and marker-focused doodles.

Robby brings a love of drawing and web craft to the pages. Tracie, a mom and early childhood educator, helps keep the pacing patient and the tone encouraging for beginners, kids, and grown-ups drawing alongside them.
